At the moment of a crisis, the perception of the self collapses. In this case the self was a version of Tiqqun's Young Girl.
The sculpture Tiqqun's Young Girl consists of an IKEA mirror cabinet and the reliefs of beauty products. One of the plaster reliefs lies fallen over and broken in the lowest compartment of the mirror cabinet.

The depicted situation reflects the moment of the new self-awareness - triggered by the disintegration of the self due to a health crisis. What remains in a confrontation between the person and the sculpture is the face reflected in the installation and the gaze that perceives and analyzes what is seen.
